Australia is one of just TWO leading nations in the G20 that has a ban on nuclear power.
The world is moving toward a carbon-free nuclear future, with more countries turning on nuclear plants. Unfortunately, there's a big, Australia-sized gap in this new worldwide carbon-free nuclear push, and that's because of its outdated ban on nuclear power.
The Australian government has the power to overturn this legislative ban but the government of Anthony Albanese, and his Climate & Energy Minister Chris Bowen is standing in the way of progress.
