The World Bank is being held to ransom by a handful of anti-nuclear rich countries by blocking investment in new nuclear energy in the global south.
This has left the Bank unable or unwilling to consider a much-needed change in its climate and energy policy. This change could lift millions out of energy poverty and tackle climate change. That’s where we come in.
We can show there is a groundswell of public support for new nuclear, help sideline the blockers and give the Bank’s leadership the space to change its position.
